PROGRAM EVALUATION
During my time in the MAFLT program I was also able to complete a program evaluation with two fellow students. We were able to look more closely at the language program at my peer's school and how it fit into the context, mission, and goals of the school as a whole. We provided an in-depth description of the school, a program analysis, and using those two subjects as a backdrop, we were able to make different recommendations for the program and how it can become better for the teacher and the students, as well as for the school itself. We also provided tons of resources at the end to help implement these recommendations. Altogether, this was one of the best experiences for myself while in the MAFLT program. I was able to really think deep into why a program works the way it does and how we as teachers can band together to enhance it. Although it's long, it was very helpful to really look deep into what goes into a program and to come up with some steps that can be implemented to strengthen it.
